White Oak, Virginia, is located in what is now the southern part of the state of Virginia, in what is known as the city of Roanoke. White Oak is an agricultural community on the upper Potomac River in southwestern Stafford County in the U.S. states of Virginia and Washington. White Oak was established around 1816 by a group of families that wanted to farm all of the products they could find on the land they farmed. They had a plantation and then an orchard. White Oak, Virginia, located in the heart of the commonwealth, is the second-largest treehouse attraction in the area after the Shenandoah National Park. White Oak is an agricultural small unincorporated community near the Rappahannock River in southern Stafford County in Virginia. White Oak has seen an increase in commerce and tourism in the area but has not seen as much development as some neighboring communities due to its remote location. White Oak Virginia has several attractions, including the historic White Oak Farm, orchards, and wineries.
